Error in installing julia and pumas in vs code

I had to uninstall everything because my system memory was full. After reinstalling Julia and VS Code with the Julia extension, I am facing issues with the REPL.

When I try to start the Julia REPL in VS Code, it shows this error☝️
Things I have tried so far:
Uninstalled and reinstalled Julia and VS Code
Reinstalled the Julia VS Code extension
Checked that Julia path is set correctly in settings
But still the REPL is not working
I tried downloading Pumas, but the LicenseSpring activation failed and it kept trying to download the license for an entire day without success.

Could someone please help me fix this issue?

Thank you!

Morning @asviharatinam,

Can you clarify the way in which you installed it. Did you go to https://julialang.org/install/ and install it manually, or did you let the Pumas VSCode extension handle the installation for you?

Please can you provide the content of the settings.json file so we can confirm they are indeed correct.

Kind regards,
Michael

@asviharatinam please can you copy and paste the entire output of that terminal panel containing the error message into this thread. The screenshot is missing parts that will help me to diagnose the cause of the error.

Vijay has mentioned that my laptop core should be 8 ,my laptop core is only 2.

Yes, a low core count will like be an issue running Pumas. The shown GitError in Error in installing julia and pumas in vs code - #4 by asviharatinam will be unrelated to that. How much free disk space do you have on this system? The minimum required in 10gb.

Total of 238 gb and in local disk c i have a free space of 136gb.

It’s likely something else then.

Please provide what was requested above, that will be much more helpful than the screenshot. Thanks.

I have 136 gb free space but my core is only 2 .

@asviharatinam I’m referring to the entire output of the GitError from your screenshot that you posted, not the system information.
