# NCADynamicQuantitiesExt is missing after I installed Pumas 2.7

When I run Pumas 2.7, it shows error message below. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

It looks like the VScode settings were not done properly. Can you share the contents of the user`settings.json` file. You can find it in the comand palette by searching for it.

This is the cause. The `julia` that is being run is 1.11.6, while Pumas 2.7 requires 1.11.5 to run. The required `"julia.executablePath"` key is not in the settings file shown. As part of installation it should have shown a pop up asking to perform the configuration. To do this manually after installation go to the `Pumas: Get Started` page, click list versions, then click the 2.7.0 item, then in the next menu click the `Configure VS Code` option and then select configure globally in the pop up that appears. Restart VS Code and then confirm whether you now have the `julia.executablePath` in your settings file.

Hi Michael, thank you for the instructions! I configured VS code and julia.executablePath is in my settings file. But another error message pop up.

The “File not found” message suggests to me that `julia` isn’t being found correctly by your VS Code. In a VS Code terminal see whether just running `julia` starts up a Julia session or not.

Please run it in the terminal panel that shows at the bottom of VS Code and show the error that appears then. Not in the command palette.

Hi Michael, thank you for your help. I reinstalled visual studio code, Julia, and Pumas 2.7.0. It works now. The only change is that Julia is changed from win32 to win64. Many thanks!

That is very odd indeed, not sure what in your system could have caused the 32bit version to be selected.

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything but mu julia got upadated to 1.12.4 and same error is showing no such directory found.  
also after running using Pumas the NCA error is showing  
please clarify @Michael
