# Installation issue

I ran into this error while trying to install Pumas. Can someone please help me?

Hi @anhduong,

That looks like it’s probably an out of date license on the system.

Please check you are on the most up to date vscode extension for Pumas (0.3.2), then look at the bottom of the Pumas landing page in the editor and click `Clear License`, pick the particular product (either pumas or deeppumas) and remove it. See below:

Then re-install the version of pumas you need to use, 2.8.1 for example, by clicking on `List Versions` and selecting the product version.

Click the product version you want to reinstall, then click remove at the bottom of the next list:

After that is done then install it as normal again. It should at that point ask for your license. Please enter the most recent license key you have been given for this year.

Hi Micheal,

Pumas is running really slow and this keeps popping up. can you advise?

Hi, without more details it isn’t possible for us to know what would be causing that. I would suggest checking your system monitor to see what processes is causing the slowdown.

From that screenshot you have selected lines 7 through to 20, and then evaluated them. Lines 7 and 20 are the markers that denote a code block in that file, not part of the code that should be evaluated. Select lines 8 through to line 19 and try again.
